Title: Easter weekend Blues :
Post by: Adriaan Van Rooyen on March 30, 2013, 08:26:38 PM
I'm depressed.  News has run dry. In fact it is damn boring.

I do sympathise with our troops in wherever having to fight for whomever.

I should know as I was bussed to Rhodesia having to protect someone from somebody whilst my wife had to look after the house and kids. For what, I ask?  Mugabe got it in the end and still hold on to what is left of it.

The corruption at home seems to have gone quite for now and I do miss Malema.  Probably not as much as he miss the ANCYL but still, he filled the pages with uneducated wittiness and memorable phrases.

If only Zuma would open his heart and speak from within instead of reading badly from a poor script.  We may not like what he says but at least we will know he is awake.  Probably the wives draining his energy.

And let Oscar have a beer.  I mean, I have been dry deliberately for some weeks now and would love a beer but then I cannot drive.  Madiba is back in hospital which is always a worry.

He deserves to live for another 20 years at least but then it becomes hard work when you get older.  I know that.

Perhaps excitement and turmoil is having a holiday or at least a long weekend.

We can do with a bit of calm.  Hope the criminals also need a break this weekend and spend time with their families watching Luke Watson on our stolen TV's.

So even if you hate Easter please enjoy the nice break. Have a lot to drink at home but don't drive once you're plastered.   Rather stay home and be hospitable to those burglars that did not get the memo about the long weekend.

Spare a thought for Madiba, Malema. Luke, Oscar, Zuma and for yourself. Next week we may be back to normal and running for our lives again.
