Meetings Galore, Site Visits, promises and expectations the order of the day!
For once, it looks like this might be happening.
Heard that 30 houses are to be built in the newly proclaimed "Kudu" suburb of Oranjemund.
This suburb can be found on the west side on town, south of the Mine Road.
Talks of big lorries carrying huge parts using the dirt road from Kolmanskop to uubvley as it will be impossible for such large structures to use the bridge or the North Bank road.
Local politicians informing the flock that Pick n Pay is now coming to Omund, wonder what happened to Shoprite ?
No matter what, it's going to be interesting for awhile, with a ton of stories of wheeling and dealing to go with the diamond tales....
