My kids are watching this classic at the moment. They absolutely are loving it. The music is stunning. Come on I'm sure there are loads of you guys who can reminisce here.

its just a step to the left and a jump to the right
Put your hands on your hips
Let's do the timewarp again.
I think we were about 12 when this came out. Best of all, is the show on stage. roar
motorbike boobs bravo :emot172:
With a bit of a mind flip
You're into the time slip
And nothing can ever be the same
great show, cult. live theatre with loud singing off all lyrics the best, and in fancy dress...................
Best cult movie ever, next to Hair............have it on video and when i feel like a bit of "mind flip", stick it in the video machine and just chill with Frank 'n Furter's crazed imagination (and stunning bod) and Riff Raff's (Richard O'Brien) voice - "there's a light over at the Frankenstein's place, there's a light burning in the fire place................." - if I could choose any movie to feature in, would've been Rocky Horror Picture Show (just a little fantasy, that's all)..........
Wowowowo!!!
Only fantasy? Aren't we all a little Frank n' Furter??
Georg jnr, if we all dig deep enuf, i'm sure we're all a little "frank 'n furter", or "magenta" if you so prefer............nothing like a fantasy, keeps life interesting..........
Barbs, don't know if you were still at WGHS this one particular year, but one Xmas party at the hostel, the theme must have been something to do with movies........i remember myself and somebody else (can't remember who, could've been a few of us actually) dressed up from Rocky Horror and did the Time Warp.........i just remember running around the dining room like a maniac doing the Time Warp..........Miss Urie's eyes almost fell out of her head
I remember the movie being banned after a few weeks showing .... I think that made it even more of a cult movie ....
Hi SandyB.
If you say banned, could it be, that the live show (original musical) has never been shown inn SA?
If not, you don't know what you've missed.
boobs grab arse
before the verkramptes banned it here in sa, my dad was down in cape town and snuck my sister Linda in to see it at the drive-in. he hid her under a blanket behind his seat - i think that's how the story goes, i just know he snuck her in somehow. she was underage (must've been about 15) but my dad was open-minded enuf to take her.
u right Sandy, their tactic backfired there - by banning it, it just made it more appealing and created more of a following...the old story of "forbidden fruit tastes sweeter".
Hey, what's happening. Starting to get into a party-mood!
I'm at work... In a psychiatry!!
Who knows? Maybe a chance with my patients.
hihihi... discodance
@ Georg Jnr... never got to see the show ... only the movie ... as delia said their tactic failed ,,,,, it helped make it into a cult show ...
@ Delia haha ha I would have liked to see that. Ms Urie who needed our parents to give permission to watch Dallas -
she must have oh never mind, she was a fart.
Hi Cheryl.
Hope you're reading this. I just want you to know, that you brought the music to om. At least did I hear it the first time at your place...
