I remember as a kid in the 70's that there were three one armed bandits in the Sportsmans and when the bar closed on a Saturday afternoon , and the barmen had gone , my folks being the true Scots they were would have lined up rows of drinks and stayed on. This was our oppurtunity as kids to sneak into the bar area and toss a 20 cent piece down those bandits throats.... I never won anything.....

Yeah I remember those machines ........ the only guy I ever saw win quite a bit was old Sammy Seal .... on one of the rare occasions that he was still standing :) wow now there's a name from the past.... and with him comes John Tresedern (sic) Wonder who still remembers them!! Debbie and Richard definately will.
