When was the Bedsitters build. I know it was in 2 phases.
I lived in both the old and new bedsitters.

I moved into the new bedsitters around November 1981 (H block close to the car ramp / repair bay). They had just been completed at that stage.
Old Bedsitters on the east and the new bedsitters to the west next to the carpenter workshop?

I guess the year around 1980 would not be far off for the flats- bed sitters near the carpenter shop

a bad quality picture of OM early 1980 . the flats next to the rugby club not built at the time . people with foto enhancing programs may make the picture better
the open space next to the rugby club - 1979 , where flats/ bedsitters was built at a later stage
