Today we say farewell to my father in law Chris Bouwer who passed away at Groote Schuur after a fairly short illness. The Bouwer's lived in Oranjemund in the 60's into the early 70's then moved to Cape Town, returning to Oranjemund again in the 80's. Chris was foreman out at Auchas then finished up as backshift supervisor for security, leaving Oranjemund in 1997 to settle in Hopefield. Thoughts go out to Patty, Christie, Michelle, Tara Lisa and Melanie as well as the extended family.
