Hi Folk
Above is a link to an ex Kolmanskopper (1950 to 1957).
Enjoy
Leon
Thanks for that Leon.
There is a German lady in town, originally from Swakopmund. As a child during the school holiday's, she and her sister could decided to visit grandparents who lived in Kolmanskuppe or family that lived on a farm.
They always chose Kolmanskuppe. This was in the 50's.
She told me a few tales and reckons that she has a box full of old photographs from her parents era. Nobody wants them , so on one of her return trips from Swakop she will bring them over to me to scan...
Looking forward to this...
Michael - Yes please . do so . [scan the pictures]
Same here. It may be an idea to put all the Kolmanskop stories/threads in a special Kolmanskop Folder/category seeing as Oranjemund was the "offspring" of Kolmanskop.
Regards to you all.
Leon
