Hi all, just checking! Been reading a few threads and started wondering who will be switching the lights off in Omund when the time comes, I have some nominations, the "Alexander" clan? (maybe) "Weidemann"? "Voden" I sure know whom to bet on!! any other .... ?
Johan
You forgot Mike STenson and Freddie Arendse or even Piet Crous.....
swink
we here to switch the lights off.
Hey Stennie, you lurker you...... I knew we'd have a post from you, sooner than later...
BierSuip
I reckon it will be one of the girls. Sheena or Paula perhaps???
dawoman
Since woman can multi task so well, they will switch off the lights and do some
poledancing
With the way Eskom is going these days, the might not be any power left to switch off....
:emot19:
Well then I think my brother "Alfred" will blow out the candles
.... and then Alfie will take a photograph.... in true Alfie style!

Hey Johan - do I count as an Alexander or a Voden?
Lived in O'mund as a Voden from 1981 - 1998 = 17 years
and as an Alexander from 1998 - now = 9 years
Guess Voden wins at this stage, will have to recalculate in 8 years time! What a scary thought!
Brother Alfred is reaching 42 years fireworks
... and the old guy looks every year of that 42....
happybirthday

iknow Shame his had a hard life...............all those years in O'mund
sun and sand beaten then - good on him sticking it out, someone had to, hey ?
LIfe ain't hard here, life is still rustig here, standards may have dropped, people may have left, clubs might close down, but you can still have a rustige braai at home or down at the river, the Golf Club is booming and so is the LOg Cabin....
Africa still has a lot going..... me a lady at the braai on friday night, been to Alaska and the Carribean for work, but still would rather return to Namibia to live, the pace of life and weather is just so lekker.....
makes you think....
:emot98:
Ok all! thats me, I'm outta here for the night, thanks for making the 10000 mark a memorable evening,

Lights, what lights,ya mean the candles.....that will be me,i have a secret key to lock up this lot....... bravo
The town will be running on Kudu Gas by then. (OR Will it)
Kudu schmudo....... Nothing is happening here........ but I read in the Namibian, that a brazilian company has just discovered gas and oils traces in the the rocks out at Koes.....
hey mike whats a "koes" idontknow
Koes, a town on the eastern border of Namibia, towards the Kalahari.....
:emot19:
Darryl, 'koes' is what you must do when Paula takes a swing at your head with some object in hand.
(Like me, I think Mike does not know how to put the " on the letters - in this case for the town name it should be on the 'e' and is pronounced as "kois".)
kinda like when the poms shout out OI! , with a KAY in front and ending with an SSsssssss!
