There are currently 2 dentists here, or at least there was... last year..... All you old timers, when did the first dentist come here? Where did we go before they were here? And what was the most number of dentists living in Omund at the same time?

I never liked any of the dentists in Oranjemund.
Everyone one of them wanted to stick his tool in my mouth!!!
..... maybe that was the only way that they could keep you quiet?

Put a string on your tooth and then on a door knob. Just wait for somebody to slam the door... laughpoint
Mavis is right, the Dr pulled the tooth if there was no dentist.
If I'm not mistaken, a Dr Latrobe pulled one of my teeth all I can remember is that he used a gas mask and ether to put me under. Even to day I can still remember him spraying the ether onto the mask.
One tends never to forget a dentist..... bling1
There was one good dentist during my time in Oranjemund, Dr Ross. He was married to Lindsay Ross.
Dr Latrobe, I think was the dentist when I was a kid and he had a intricate distraction device next to the chair that was a pieec of string with cotton wool attached that somehow moved to appear in his words like two rabbits chasing one another.
Hi Charmaine
Dr Ross still practices down south here in muizenburg... still my dentist... a bit shakier but still doesnt hurt!
stay well
