I was just sitting here and pondering about how diversified the members of this forum are, how many country's and continents we are now scattered to...... all because of Oranjemund, we all share a common bond. I was trying to remember in which country we are represented in.... so here goes.... If I missed you, then add on:
Namibia
South Africa
Chile
New Zealand
Australia
USA
Canada
Ireland
Northern Ireland
Scotland
England
France
Germany
Holland
Austria
Dubai
........ not to shabby I think, just need an asian location and on the off chance somebody is in Antartica, we'll have the globe covered!

Correction Mike, it's not because of Oranjemund, but because of some of the people and species. Oranjemund is a wonderful town, it is some of the people/species that makes it "on aangenaam" to keep on living here. Just take a walk from spar to our office past Snooker and Darts, and you will understand exactly what I mean...things never use to be like this.
I'm sure Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal are missing. Or were they spread everywhere in the country except in OM?
I refer to the members of this forum, and not to all the nations that lived in Omund!
I must admit that I thought the number of members on this forum would have stayed at the the 300 mark, give or take a couple, but they keep on joining us.....
thnx
I noticed - nearly at 360 and I am willing to bet R50 towards the November reunion fund that before the end of February we will be at the 400 mark or past it.
You may note my bet - not scared to pay up when I do something like that. So, who is going to join me in this bet - (no counter bets - just when the people who are as positive as I am about the forum loses the bet, they have to pay up) - the bosses on the forum can controll it? What says you lot?
Back to an old topic.... I was just going through the latest guestbook entries..... wow... i am constantly amazed at how far and wide , we oranjemunders have been blown to the four corners of the earth......
If you are ever bored, go back to the guestbook and page through those postings...wow!

Surely we are missing a few more countries a year down the road.....
allgood
Greece ... if I'm not mistaken, Mandy Morrow lives there. Must check my facts on Facebook, but I'm sure she's there.
Thanks Patricia, let us know! are-you-there
Mike, I see that in your opening letter about the diversification of ex Oranjemunders and you were wondering if anyone was living in Antartica.
I'm sure there was a chap named Phil Slier (not too sure about the name though) who was fortunate to go to Antartica on one of the South African supply / service vessels on one of their yearly (or part of) tours. Perhaps other members remember more info of this.............?????
If so, does this count as ex Oranjemunders having the world covered..........?????????
