I'm busy scanning a lot of Newsletters from the 70's. I archive them, and then when I decide to do an update on the main site , I use them... Only thing is......there are way toooooo much nice photo's that keep distracting me and reminding me of you lot in here, so I keep posting.... It's gonna take me about two months to scan all these newsletters...

Awesome! Thanks Michael. When my dad passed away I found that most of the photographs taken during our time in OM were missing. So it's really great to be able regain some of the memories through this site. bighug
Sandy, what I want to do, is as people post more pics in here, they get stored on the server, then in about a year or so from now, I want to copy them off there and together with all the Newsletters I've scanned, put them on a DVD. And any of the members that want a copy, I'll post it to you free of charge.... that way you will recover a lot of memories that you can browse on your own time. In this way, no matter what happens in Oranjemund.... the memories and photo's, newsletters will be preserved.... this is alos why it is important to post as many photo's as one can in here...
I was just working it out the other day, but between my two pc's I have scanned more than 5000 images (nesletters and photo's) since the beginning of this project!
