I reckon... one would have thought that it would have been the mines responsibilty to archive all the newsletters, instead I am doing it from various sources, as nobody has the complete collection, including the mine....

These days, the newsletter only comes out once every two weeks, unless there's a power cut or a public holiday or any other excuse that comes along....

No  Georg very happy with my life and my hunk as it is now. Having said that i think it was very special having grown up in O'mund from 5 years old, that was my life,my upbringing. It's just so cool to remember those times.Richard and I can bore people to tears with our O'mund stories.     I think it is very different for us lot that grew up there, than it was for those that came later in their lives.I've noticed that these are the people telling us to let go of the past and move on. They just don't understand.....that desert sand is in our brains.

@Barbara Eia  We won't get into it here but do you remember the conversation we had in the cafe when Stephen was still engaged to that other chick.
@Michael that would be great. I remember Margaret Quirk having all the copies

Mike i have some news letters but not sure which years they are from......i will look them up for if your missing any of the years.......they are maybe from the 70/80's as i got them sent to me by the G/M there....i dont remember the name...but i wrote to him asking if he could help me trace my old friend nicolene........He replied....well his secretary did ...and sent me about 5 new letters and also nicolenes family last known address......think it was about 20 year ago....she had moved on and i never found her.....till 2006.....the CD is a brilliant idea ....I did a Cd with all the old 60's songs and gave them to my old friends at our O/M reunion in cape town and they loved it........
