May to August was meant to be the Cold Front weather that comes in from the sea, normally hits cape town with the tail end of the cold front swipping us...winter stuff... cold winds..

But January to March we get the thunderstorm rain weather from the east... this seems more regular these days than in previous years...rains warm, only a little, with thunder and Lightning..... the weather is all messed up these days anyhow...

Heard on the news this morning that somewhere in the US they are having severe cold weather  -  second lowest temp recorded for don't know how many years  -40d celc   -

Keith - the guy with the frozen Canadian pole in the kayak............  are you still okay bru?  Your temps lower than that?

"I'll buy you one more frozen orange juice...
and one more of all the other frozen stuff too..."

Afganistan  also...coldest in 40 years... so much for global warming...... interesting program on how the ice ages actually occur... all to do with the earths uneven path around the sun that changes every few thousand years... moves just a wee bit further away from the sun and viola!.... we have glaciers in texas....

I leave for the USA at the end of the month and the long term weather forecast average in north east is -6deg C with snow storms; this is gonna be fun after the heat in Cape Town!

That will be a heavy change for you.

Just had the info from USA where snow is high at minus degrees......... go in a coolhouse in CT and exercise in the mean time, you will miss SA and CA
