Nope, I read the mags on the shop shelf, fill in the crosswords and then put them back on the shelf... and wait for a customer to complain, sometimes for more of a response I even leave a slice of tomato between the pages....

I would love to see what our old house looks like now.  It was an absolute mess when we moved in, and when we moved out of town years later it was a paradise garden.  Can someone take a photo?  It would be really great to see!

18??!!  Sjoe, they really are getting big!!!!  Aw, I remember the laatlammetjie was born a year or so before we moved, right?  Sjoe, can't believe she's almost 5!!!
Getting older is not the painful part - it is how you embrace it!!

I will try to send you pics of my ma and how she's doing.  The old lady is also not so jonk anymore...!

I  have  a hazy  memory  . the position of  the  pondock  .. didnt  the  Du Toits  stay  there  Years  ago ?/ He  was  the  postmaster  .. in the 70's .. there is somthing  stuck in  my  mind  .. i  remember as  an appie  we  had  to go  to  the house   and   all  in  the  area  to  do  repair  after some  idiot  ahd  worked  in  the  substaion  nearby on  the  weekend ..  got  the  neutral  mixed up  with  one  of  the  3 phases   so  all  the houses  being  fed  by  this  substation  got  380 v  instead of  220 V  .. their  lights  burned  bright  .. their  fridges    worked  overtime  , in  fact any  appliance  went  into  overdrive  when  the  power  was  put on  again   and then  fizzled out ...   we  had  to do damage  control   replacing light bulbs  and  assessing  all  appliances  for  claims against  the company ..
