New Year Events in Omund!

Well most people have left town, I thought for those 8 people remaining I would post whatever New years eve events are happening in Omund.... and I am sad to say there are bitter few.....

1) The bowling club is organising a social get together, more than likely something to do with a braai..... nice family venue if you have kids....

2) Sheperds Lodge (Sheperds Neck), Well the bash is certainly down there this New Years eve, if 2 of you go to the bowling club...the other 6 can go here, then at least there will be a crowd..... on a serious note...... there is a bash going on down here.... nice location, nice bar, and loads of grass to put up your tents so that you do not need to hit any gemsboks on your way home....

3) James Lankhaar is hosting a Hawaiian theme party in his bar at his house, I think you need an invite though... but I think that in the wee hours of the morn..... this should be the best pary spot of them all.....

4) Me.... Mike.... who no longer consumes beer, will be having a quiet potjie, ( all say Awwwwww! Shame!)..... and a couple of Whisky's to see in the New year...

5) Jock Alexanders Hoose..... after 37 years of celebrating Hogmannay at 02h00, Jock will be having a small dram to welcome in the New Year at his castle at Mount Pigsville...... The numbers have decreased dramatically, but this traditionalist Scot still persists!


Thats all I know so far..... the joys of boozing!
