I'm gonna tell you all a story, well part of it at first..... on this here photo, is a well dressed domestic...... and two kids...... the year was 1948.... the place .... Oranjemund........ now...... one of the kids in the pic..... still lives here in dear old Oranjemund.......  but let me get more facts before I go on.....

Well, according to this lady, she is now 63, and very active running a business here in Omund..... She married a chap from Luderitz, they left briefly for a few years in Kleinzee and returned here about 20 years ago....... For years, she kept telling me about this photograph..... but could'nt find it, until 3 days ago...... what is fascinating, besides the manner in which the domestic is dressed, is the brick building, newly built, attached to the wooden House...... she cannot remember the address of the building, would love to take a then and now pic....

Anyhow, for the locals.... her name is.........
