Bakery To Close!

Just had an old meme in the office , she works for the private baking company in oranjemund called Bon Appetite'...... well she got given her retrenchment letter today, along with her co workers..... she sat here shaking, asking for a job in the Spar Bakery...... Had to explain to her, that we are unable to help her.... as we had an obligation to our recenlty retrenched 23 employees...to be re employed first if the opportunity should happen...

One could see the fear, the dispair...in her eyes..... and there was nothing we can do....

After she had left , Arthur mentioned to me ... that this was the 2nd Bon Appetite employee to ask for work by us today......

Such sad  sad  news .. and here's  me  digging into the minds of a few ungrateful  shytstirrers  on the workfront  doing the ME ME ME thing and yes trying to poison  their peers minds ..  I have emphatically said we must be grateful we still have work coming in  and yes may  at times along the way have to make some  sacrifices  to  keep our  company  lean  mean and  afloat ... not that I'm advocating blind  dankie baas vir die job mentality , but  just to expand ones mind  beyond ones  immediate situation  read the papers , and see how many jobs are being shed   or  short time being  done ..  I need a     to drive sense into them ..
