The Fish Are Biting Again!

Well , it's that time of the year, the fish are running down at the mouth, there were more than 40 cars/bakkies parked along the sandbar last night ... tonight the evening air in Oranjemund is permeated with the smell of fish braai's...

Yesterday afternoon, there was even a NAMPOL (Police) bakkie parked down there....

Oohh - lekker!

We also got a few good ones where we were camping and brought them back with us. Gonna enjoy a few more fish braais for the next few weeks still. Biggest one was a steenbra weighing in at nearly 17kg! Mostly kabeljou and a few galjoen!

Some customers are trying to verbally abuse me..... those blerrie fish are coming in big down at the beach and poor ol' Spar has no bait, made a plan I should have some by Thursday though.....
