New Hours at Oranjemund Spar

Well, as you all know..our sales at Oranjemund Spar are plummeting, it is with this in mind that we have changed our trading hours and will now close at 17h30 instead of 18h00....

Please Note that as of TUESDAY THE 5TH May 2009, ORANJEMUND SPAR will no longer be closing at18H00, we will now close at 17h30  from Monday to Friday.

Not right now, but I heard from a very reliable source tonight, that proclamation cannot happen due to a technical point or two..... Government and DeBeers would need to sit down and change a few things.... however this does not seem like it will ever be happening.... the road for a future in Oranjemund does seem rather dark....

Like somebody pointed out on this forum before.... the sole purpose of this town, was and still is... to service the diamond mining industry.... nothing else..... it should not be here...

I have resigned myself to this statement and can just be thankful that I and my family have been lucky to have lived here while we could...
