I went for a walk with Shadow yesterday down to the Slat Pan, via the dumps.... just beyond the treeline into the dumps , I was surprised to see that somebody is trying to regrow the original vegetation onto the dumps...

just stumbled onto this one ..  any clue yet as to  who the mysterious  planter is ??  I recall my many hours in the dumps .. me and my dog scampy ..  and at one stage a crazy cat  that moved in for a yearor  so  then moved  on .. this cat would go walkies with me and scampy into the dumps ...
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .

Alfie, isn't that the same  weed that you used to grow near the tea room at Uubvley HT?

Mervin Emery had a name for it but it has slipped my memory.........
