Firstly, I have to say a big thank you to Stalwarts like Kelly and the ladies from the Riding Club. To the Moths for trying to keep these events alive in a time when the mine no longer feels an obligation to hosting these festive events for the youth of this town.....  , (Yes! I know the mine paid to have the lights put up......)

This evening was the great switch on of the lights ( I shall post those later this week)

It was nostalgic to see the Tractor train in action again, kinda strange to have the Traffic dept leading the tractor train with the Doooof ! Dooof! Dooof! Music blaring from it..... but then, I am just stuck in the past.....

Thanx Mike! Wow, as kids, Christmas time in Oranjemund was simply awesome!!!! Wonderful to see there's still people trying to keep the spirit alive and bring the same joy and wonder we experienced  to the kids.
