60 days and 60 Nights ago, this chap removed , perfectly healthy grass from the corner of the lawn behind the NG Kerk.... I thought it strange, but then thought..... they were more than likely gonna plant flowers there....

I wonder where the grass went to?
I wonder when they are gonna plant flowers?

This brings back a memory of a guy who was suspected of lifting some of the company goods for his own private enterprise.  They promptly moved him out of the mining area into "Parks and Gardens".  Well, I believe he planted lots of pot in the beds all over Town.  Was quite the thing to do in those days and I suspect they had an idea who was responsible and I never learnt if he got away with it.
The pot is now worth more than the diamonds of course....  Function of the economy.
