I heard people moaning about our hospital again, somebody sent me this cutting from a 1997 Newsletter, which is quite apt....

On a personal note, We have had all three of our kids born there and I have no reason to fault the staff at this institution........

My take ... never whinge ... but  also never  let the  Doc  be  god .. take responsibility for your health and the  service you getting ...

I remember the hospital well (the hospital was free in our days) the service was excellent and dentistry................well the two dentists resigned and the doctors at that time had to fill in for them !!!................. Sandy!! sometimes your well being is entirely out of your hands.

Well aware of that Frank ,,  just meant to imply that one should  demand the best from  ones practicioner ,, thats our  responsibilty  ...

If you'r scared of the dentist's chair and the needle... try Eastgate, Doc van der Westhuizen is brilliant with the needle, you don't even feel it.

Namdeb dentists left me feeling like I had been injected using a four inch nail.

Probably something like Bertie's mentioning of his first extraction patient in Bonnivale. The patient couldn't believe that there needn't be agony and suffering...
All things electrical contain smoke. Making it come out is easy; getting it back in? ... yeah right!!!

I have a friend that is S*** scared of the dentist!! he actually does his own dentistry, he told me that he broke a tooth awhile ago but instead of visiting the dentist he fixed it with two pact poly filler, and the amazing thing is its still there...................the tooth.                 cl1
