GPS Oranjemund!

Now That was weird, I am sitting at work and the electric telephone rings..... a girl/lady on the other side, sitting somewhere in ZA, asks me if I have a map of Oranjemund with all the street names and numbers, "Pardon? ", Exclaim, do you know that this is a shop and not a mapstore....... Anyhow turns out they (whoever she works for) , need this said map as they are compiling GPS co ordinates for Oranjemund, each and every address....

I thought this strange and gave her two emails for Namdeb folk that should be able to help her.....

Still, I sit here wondering what this was all about, are tourists coming here eventually.....

Michael I have seen the google earth people in their vehicles (they were behind me) in these cars with cameras positioned all around the car I thought at the time I was being investigated!! FBI, CIA, MI5 and then I noticed the Google Earth logo,.............the only thing I had to check was my underpants.

I also believe that the Google mobiles are also driving around Cape Town doing their thing for the World Cup.....

They should send one to video my braai spot.....
