Here's a promising tale.....

As you all remember , the company used to run a farm down at Hohenfels and Swartkops, before moving over to Beauvallon.... anyhow..... to an extent, this farms became redundant...... till a private person took over the farm at Swartkops about 5 years ago..... anyhow... this chap is pulling out now and I have heard from two reliable sources that there have been "bigger' people visiting that wish take over the lands.... for farming and a BEE deal of sorts.... these guys have been quite successful in other parts and the chap in charge is talking about putting up grape vineyards along the river .... I also heard he wanted to plant vines on the barren land around the practice range in town... reckons it would look nice to drive into town and see vines growing......

Let's hope this scheme comes to fruitation...

Well good luck to them, the ground around there is very fertile

That will indeed be good ...  the closer to the  river mouth the more fertile the soil becomes ...  more  work opportunities  and the spinoffs ...
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .
