Well we are on leave with the in laws down in Gordon's Bay, I headed off to the local pub to watch the rugger, was'nt there for 20 minutes and in walked Terry and Stokkies, small world..... They satyed for a bit and then I got talking to the okie next to me, well he came from Montague and knows ex Oranjemunder Patricia who lives there.... when he left, I was talking to a guy about the rugger and it turns out he has been to Oranjemund a couple of times, knows Hein Bronkhorst, knew the names of the bars in Oranjemund...  whatta small world....

Half of the ex-Oranjemunders must be living in Somerset West/Strand and Gordons Bay.

Mike V, what have you done to your TV?  Must be something bad or that beautiful, friendly partner of yours would not have had you and your son-in-law hitting the streets to watch the sport.

Mike Voden (RIP)

For your information Nada, I was at home watching football with the Emerys on MY television set, it was Mike A who wandered off to watch the rugby........... so there!!!!!!!!!

Yes! It's funny how us Oranjemunders tend to find the local pub within minutes of arriving at one's vacation location.....

Sheena

Seems like the Oranjemunders just know where to go - we have a Mining Expo in Windhoek at the moment.  Walked in there yesterday and every second person I saw was an ex Oranjemunder.  Seemed like old times!!!

Hi Sheena, the same here at Gordon's Bay Bowling Club. There are toooooooo many members with connections with O'mund. I'll be getting some info from them and putting on the Forum soon.

How is it with the Du Toit and Joubert Clan......?????? We are both well here in G Bay, Jen has started to play social bowls as well.
