What could you get with your coupons? What were the colours? Remember taking empty egg box's back to the shop and for every 15 you brought back, you got a free dozen!

Mike, i seem to recall black coupons for brown bread and white for white bread or was the white bread coupon another colour, white being for the milk coupons - can't quite remember? Those type of memories are a bit hazy - it was such a part of our life that we took it for granted.

mike the coupons were red and white . the red was for the bread i jut cannot recall how it varied for brown or white bread. but i can reall having to hang them buckets and then sometimes having to run after the truck when you forgot, besides the colours where did we get the coupons from? was it the shop
of course i am in shape...i'm round

AS kids we used to take a bread coupon and in winter on the way to school get a half loaf that was just out the oven to eat and warm up our hands, mom always wondered where the coupons went to.
