Hospital Goes Digital!

Here is a most excellent piece of news coming from our local hospital.

Whilst sourcing my medication from the hospital this morning, I noticed three rather large crates siting inside the X-ray dept, on asking about the three items, I was informed by sources within the medical industry that this was the hospitals sparkling new Digital X ray machine...... Wow! what a great piece of positive and enlightening news........

Turns out, if need be, the new piece of technology would be able to send, via email digital images of the patient to doctors based local or elsewhere for further advice....

It is great to see that the mine is still intent on putting their money where their mouth is and investing in this most important community institution...

Digital X ray  indeed  wonderful  ,, the one  tooth i had with crack in base could not be detected  on ordinary Xray ,,, the   crack  shown and source of   abcess  shown in red ...  to a T ...  amazing technology  and yes  able to be sent  instantly  in the case of  more advice needed ...
