Wessel Wessels lands a 4kg Steenbrass!

Ex Oranjemunder, Wessel Wessels, member of this forum, has in recent years been returning to Omund for vacations, he is currently in Oranjemund for his Xmas vacation  and approached me in the store yesterday , beaming from ear to ear, his holiday just became worthwhile as he had just landed a 4kg Steenbrass whilst fishing down at the beach......... he was on his way to the Dune Ride, wonder how that went....


More of you ex oranjemunders should think about heading up to Omund for your December vac......

I believe that the river is about to flood and the fishing folk down at the beach are pulling in Cob and steenbrass in excess of 6 kilo's! Anyone got photo's?

I believe Wessel went home with a smile on his face after landing all three types of the big fish, Galjoen, Cob and Steenbrass.....

I am also led to believe that he intends to return in a few months.....

Pity the powers that be cannot see the potential of tourism yet.,....
