Giel and  Aliki Some pics with parents, one is at her kitchen tea, one with their first born, Renko, Giel"s Yellow Landrover is unmistakably recognizable, that thing was a landmark around Oranjemund,  Also Basil's green Fairmont. The Gunston  Fairmont V8  he kept in the garages near the bridge.

Thanks for the photo's Henk, nice to see Giel again. I was very good friends with the Huisamens and van Niekerks. Used to spend the June holidays on their farm. They had great parents as well.

    Uhhhh   -  nou onthou ek ook hoe lyk Giel Huisamen. 

Never, how can someone have such a bad memory like me ???  I know the names, but for the life of me can't put faces to them, or I recognise a face, but can't remember the name ..............   (Don't dare link age to it !!!)
