RIP ~ Bessie le Roux

Bessie le Roux (89 years) passed away on 16 May in Hermanus Medi-Clinic. Her husband was Coenie le Roux who used to work for Parks and Gardens. Bessie worked in the Post Office and, later, in the Magazine (Stores).  They were the parents of Danie le Roux who used to be a member of the Bad Apple Band and retired more or less in the mid-70's.

Bessie was a bowls champion in (the then) South West Africa and played the accordion and piano for "Volkspele" in those years.
