As previously mentioned, we are expecting a state school to be built in our little town.

Not too sure if they will attract 500 pupils though..... Over the years I have seen in local papers that a number of parents try and scrape money together just to send their offspring to a private school, as they do not have faith in the standards at state schools, funny how the ministers in Namibia send all their kids to private schools..... anyhow, any development in Oranjemund is welcomed...

According to recent press articles, Kudu gas has been shelved.... seems the powers that be wish to build a gas power station at Arandis.... there was a report somewhere that not all the ministers in the cupboard were in favour of Kudu.... it was mentioned some of them had interests in having the Arandis station built..... misguided folk...... wonder why we have'nt gone solar yet..... The area around Keetmanshoop has some of the best solar sunshine in the world..... think I will go into ploitics when I turn 50..... turn the country around.....
