POLICE have laid more charges against a man linked to the discovery of millions

On Monday, it was reported that a motorcyclist's split decision to dodge a routine traffic stop had unearthed a million-dollar mystery, leading police to $4 million worth of bank notes in suitcases stashed in an inner-city Brisbane storage shed.

A 32-year-old man is expected to front Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face drugs, weapons and other charges after police swooped on the Kennards storage shed in West End.



Officers netted the extraordinary cash haul - believed to be one of the largest in Queensland's recent memory - along with firearms, a huge quantity of drugs, weapons and a Taser.

The cash, legitimate Australian bank notes believed to be worth about $4 million, will be counted by a bank. Yep! I belive the bank and police will be counting this large sum of money...........one for you bank! and one for you police! and one for the public purse....................



The search uncovered a semi-automatic handgun, steroids and other drugs, believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as documents leading police to the storage shed. A Taser was also discovered but police are unsure of its origins.

"It's not a home-made device and it appears to have been purchased from somewhere, which will be part of our investigation," Supt Sheldon said.

He said the man was on a motorcycle but was not wearing any club patches.
