Gert Lights Up 11th Avenue!

Well, it seem's that local man , Gert has taken the title for this years Christmas Deco.....

I don't have the best camera for taking night pics, but last night , it was refreshing to see one section of 11th avenue illuminated.... flashing like a beacon of hope along the darkened street.... was a spectacle worthy of earning a place along the Las Vegas strip.

It was amazing to stop with the kids at this house, cars were slowing down as they passed the spectacle... cars parking, people climbing out , taking photographs.... there was even a live father christmas...

Gert! If you read this, you sir! are doing a very service for  the children of this community.... we hope you gain strength to do this for many more years come...

      

Perhaps the town should ask ol' Gert to maintain all the broken street lights....?
