Amarok Crew Coming to Omund early next year!

Heard from a local businessman, that a dear friend of his, Sarel Vd Merwe, who happens to be a champion rally driver will be in town for a few days soon, to recce out the area and to make final arrangements for a crew of 30 odd souls to return in early 2013 to make an advert for the VW amarok..... they will be doing a few tests in the dunes..... this should be interesting....

Do quite a bit of work with VW and Amarok in Cape Town, plenty budget so you might want to increase prices in Spar that week

This event has happened, with a large contingent of international journalists coming to town to monitor the performance testing of the Amarok..... I believe the VW visitors from South Africa were really impressed with our village, with one fellow muttering that he wishes he could move up here....

All in all I believe the event went down rather well, with a local Argentinian businessman smiling from ear to ear as the currency squeezes out from under his bed.....
