New Firestation for Oranjemund!

In an early morning discussion, it was alleged that a new fire station would be built in Oranjemund. It was also added that the mine had received a new fire truck and that a permanent fire staff member would be appointed!

At the same discussion it was alleged that the local authority was given funds from Government to source a new fire engine for the town.

So it'a a bit confusing at this stage , are there two fire engines coming to our end of the world? One for the mine? On for the town? Who is building the new fire station? Mine or local Authority?

No matter what happens? If true it would be a most excellent move?

Can anyone out there confirm anything?
