Before I start to rant, I must admit, there appears to be a lot more chaps on the streets, watering and cleaning..... the lawns are returning to the green states..... not all mind you, but a an improvement nevertheless...

A disgruntled resident popped into our office yesterday morning, wanting me to mention a concern that he has...

It would appear that lately, the company/council seems to be doing away with the strict control on the local population removing tree's .....

The resident mentioned how he could not help but notice that there are a number of folk having tree's uprooted and cut down.... just because they are in the way," A bird kept dropping on my car" was another reason....

I know in previous years, the company realised the importance of tree's in the town. But with a combination of factors, the age of the tree's, the type of tree's being planted in sandy soil and with the town in a limbo state between the mine and council, this rule is no longer being enforced....

It's a pity, I recall that just a few short years ago, the mine would rebuild damaged fences around a tree, just to preserve it....

Once the tree's are all gone, we will only then realise what we had....

Wonder what that ape have stored in his garage. Trees are made for birds to sit in. Cars go in the garage people!!!!
