Some time back, Jane and I took a long-weekend break on the Pembrokeshire (Wales) coast. We decided to take a walk and the most amazing thing happened - we spotted Robin Hood on his white stallion!

It turned out to be that Ozzie bloke Russell Crowe filming his version of the myth/legend of Robin Hood. I stress it is his take on the story. The crazy thing with this version is the twisted history  - the French invade the UK again (!) but lo and behold, Robin Hood and some other blokes in green tights with a few regular army guys who were good with a bow and arrow, managed to repel the entire French invasion force all by themselves.....!

Jawelnofine.

I was more thrilled by the chopper which had a camera attached to it's nose. At one time it hovered above me and that was a rush of wind and noise.

The rubber dinghy you will see in the bay was there to retrieve all the arrows the archers fired off. I think there were approx 6,000  in all. The two guys in the dinghy did a brilliant job to make sure the movie production company adhered to the rules to not pollute the coastline. And no, the water was not freezing. It was so clear amd warm because the Gulf Stream bring the warmer water this far north.
