Just heard that the local GRN (Government) Clininc gor broken into last night, several doors were damaged, this comes hot on the heels of the Local Swapo office getting broken into last week.... the number of unemployed people wandering the streets is on the up.... and the town is'nt even opened yet..... what torrent awaits us!

Most awful thing to hear .. we always felt so safe in the O'mund of old .. but then times change and we just have to move with it .. we used to leave our homes unlocked .. even my Moms duplex behind the Dutch reformed church  the front door was left open so that the dogs had free access to outside .. I recall the one night my Mom was away on a   business trip  I arrived  at the duplex  .. pissed meant to collect somthing to go to the next party ,so left my cars engine idling  .. sat down  for a moment and ( well passed out )  woke up the next morning all sore from sleeping in a chair and with  the throbbing head and parrot cage mouth .. walked outside and saw my  car standing  engine idliing away .. nowhere else could that have happened .. the only thing that ever got stolen was my bicycle .. it was commandeered for an obvious joyride ,, then thrown over somebodys garden fence .. I got it back within the day ..
There are however some things i refuse to do  to move with the times even today ..I have no burglar bars in my home .. I refuse to live in a jail .. so I rely entirely on a good burglar alarm ..
To see  sometimes  requires that you  first believe .
