Slip n Slide!

How many of you had a slip n slide in your garden? I remember going to Billy Summers's house in 4th ave as a kid with my folks for a braai, they had a nice slope ans we kids had a ball, the only thing was when the Scots all got pissed they took over the slip n slide......

I remember at the Yacht club they would sometimes put a canvas sheet on the slope and make it wet, kinda like a massive slip n slide.....

I remember the yacht club too, that was great fun. Mike, did you not have one in your garden, I know you had a pool !!!!!

Yes ! the same pool we threw you into, then you had to go and clean my mom's gas stove! Did you lose a bet or something?

Cant remember but I did a good job on that stove, your mum just laffed at me, and I wore a white tshirt in that pool, very embarrasing............

and here's a snap of a typical Oranjemund house with a portapool in the garden, this one is of the Alexander Boys ay E7-1st... note the aerial mast in the garden, the oak tree behind the pool was ripped out and replaced by mielies after my dad retired 8 years back...
