I got stones from the Orange!

One of my patients (72 years old) from Kuilsriver went on a trip to the Richtersveld last week.  I spoke about that area and she knows I miss the river so much.  This morning she brought me a bag filled with different stones she picked up in Baken and Sendelingsdrif!!!!  Wow a nice gesture.

   Any shiney stone amongst them?  We have Baken kids at OPS...their bus is outside the SPAR everyday....

Heck! Bertie, you should've tried to come up here...we have some serious partying to do!

No Mike, no shiny ones!  Nice round stones of different colours 3-5 cm max.  Going to pack them around the base of my bonsai tree in my office so I can see them every day.

The partying, and being with you lot in November - you don't know how sad and disappointed I am, not being able to be there!  (Jy verstaan nie, broer) I wish things were different, but there's absolutely no way of getting around my other commitments.

I just comfort myself in knowing that my situation will be different in the very near future, and an Oranjemund visit is number one on my list.  You can count on that, I'm definitely taking you up on that, and I still owe you a pizza and a sixpack which I'll have to deliver.  No, I didn't forget!
