Airships

I was reading a most interesting article today on the future potential  resurgence of airships as a more environment friendly means of transport  for long distance air travel .. I see more aslo a parralell with sea shipping where sails to assist resutling in 25 % + fuel saving ..  anyhow shoot me down , but over the many years i have done international travel with the resultant long flights .. i have always  done a little mind thing  saying to the aircraft that i entrust myself  to it and the pilot carrying me to destination safely ( possibly the  result of a near crash at Luderitz airport many years ago which put the sh*ts in me for many years ) I suppose its like patting your  car on the bonnet  before a long journey and saying " we gonna get  there safely hey ?"  Anyhow I have over the years had this recuring dream  when i sleep on a long journey .. whereby I was told that the days of the high speed jetliner will draw to a close or diminish and that air travel will revert to slower  more sedate airships .. being larger ,comfort would be easier to facilitate  so a  longer journey would not wreck one as cramped air travel does  .. Lo and behold i read this article today ..  see shortcut    airshipsafrica.com   .. indeed interesting visit to the website .. airship hybrids .. a combination of wingspan and blimp  with helium assist pretty much as it came to me in the dreams ..   so we dont have to worry about a  repeat of the Hindenburg disaster ... anyone  see that movie .. I always remember the lady with the tiny  pipe ..  visit and enjoy ..

This is something tha was planed in Germany to. They spent a lot of money on the project.
In the end the lorries won the race again.
The giant sized building in which the aircrafts were being built is now used as a kind of holiday resort. Made up like a  tropical scenery with several swimming pools.
