The New Quiz On The Forum Is.....


Some would say it's killing the site.....

I am always in go with the majority and for what benefits the site..... I do not think that the Quiz would kill the idea of the site.....as most quiz players , first logon to the main board to read the topics, reply if need be and then play a quiz, whilst watching the shoutbox..... I also intend to add a few Oranjemund Orientated quiz's when I have some spare time.....

But I would be glad to hear any of your thoughts.....

I don't think the quiz section is killing the site.  The people who do the quizzes still post as much as they did previously.
I also have a few ideas on new quizzes, already tried setting up a new one, but it's still not working, it still adds the answer text description as a fifth option, which makes the quiz no use.
Mike if you have a minute, please try it - just create a new quiz, and add one multiple choice question.  After filling in all the boxes, save it, then check the question by clicking on the "edit" button - you'll see what my problem is. Just do one question, so you wont waste time.

I don't think they killing the site....as Bertie says the same people who play are the same ones posting.  I thought the postings were slower than usual anyway before you started the Quizz board.

@ Mike, I did get your message about the O'mund history quiz. Unfortunately I am a little snowed under at the moment, but will get to it as soon as I can! (I am having the same problem as Diana with the present quizzes, a couple of answers......then bomb out!)

Guys, as stated earlier, the quiz software is still in a development stage, there are always new version coming out, I will just keep upgrading and posting problems to the seveloper..

No problem Mike.  Was wondering if it's only showing the 5th unwanted option in the choices on my computer because I'm the quiz "creator". 

Will someone who played the Namibian wonder quiz please tell me if they saw the explanation of the answer between the answer options? It is longer than the other answers.  Or any volunteer to play it?  There should only be 4 options in the multiple choice questions.  If there's 5, it's a balls-up....
