Hi everyone - I'm back.

Thank you for the Birthday messages, sorry I'm only reply to everyone now.
On 17th March I was taken into hospital - It turned out that I had a slow bleed on the brain which caused a blood clot, and was later discovered that I had two aneurisems as well.  But it will take more than all that to get rid of me.  I'm come from a long line of tough Irish women.

Hi Claire!  Sorry to hear what happened, but very glad you're ok!
I'm sure they gave you medication to prevent it from happening again.  PLEASE keep taking your meds and go for regular checkups, it is VERY important.
Take it easy, OK?

Hi
Thank you everyone, Still suffer head aches but other than a few memory problems and speech problems I will make a full recovery.  Just that happy that I'm still here and I'm going to make the most off every minute.  Just enjoying the time off work and spending it with the kids.  Will start reading through the forum and see what I've missed. giverose allgood

hi - me again.  Just been at the doctors again.  Getting better and stronger every day.  now that my hair is starting to grow back, you wouldn't even know that there was anything wrong.  The muscles on the right side of my face still don't work, but it's not too bad,  just look like i've had bottox treatment.  The joke in our house is
24/34.  The right side of me looks like i'm 24 years old and the left looks like i'm 34 years old  sorriso2
It was funny when i was in hospital - looking back now we can laugh about it. I looked like the bride of Frankenstien , 37 staples going from the top of my head down to behind my right ear.  But all better now, nothing a bit of lipstick won't fix   cheerup

@ Claire - With a spirit like yours things can only get better! Here's hoping that the healing will be even faster than you expect!

With all that hair missing and a line of staples across your head, you must look like Paula...

Thank you all.
It will take more than a hole in the head to get rid of me.
I've been going through the forum to find out what i've missed out on.  I can't find any info on the new member of the Alexander family, could anyone point me in the right direction please
