I have just had a total hip replacement and in all honesty it was the best thing I have ever done. No more pain and now my legs are the same length. Just wish the hospital was up to standard. For four grand a day they charge the medical aid (us every month we pay) I could have booked into the mount nelson, had fantastic food and spa treatments. Instead I got choices of chicken or beef, lunch and dinner, nurses who are just there for the "job" and every time they needed to get to my bed it felt like advance removals were coming to pack up my house and move the furniture into the truck as there was nor enough space to swing a thermometer around net alone a bed pan.Namdeb hospital could actually teach the westville hospital a thing or two.

Hi Kaye - happy to hear that all went well with your op!

Hope you are taking it easy!

I had excellent service at Namdeb Hospital with all 3 of my c-sections (even though we had to go out looking for Doppies to come and assist with the last one!)

Keep well and remember to take it easy!!!!
