What's happened to Omund's booze consumption if the liquor warehouse is up for rent. The bottle store must be near on empty or are the remaining few in Omund running their own stills... Mike???

So Mike, any stats as in empty residences and it might be quicker to tell us what is open?  Thumb suck.  How is the town maintenance doing ie roads, sewerage, parks and gardens, school, hospital etc?

@John, actually in all honesty, the mine is maintaining the town, the lawns are being kept clean and watered, the refuse still gets removed, we had a slight hiccup with the quality of the water, but when the knob's water started to turn their white clothing brown, it was rectified.... I used to walk home along 7th avenue in the dark after work in the winter evenings and was pleasantly surprised to see on Thursday an entire electrical team out with the Abbey truck repairing damaged lights along 5th,6th, 7th and 8th avenue..... this included repairing the broken covers at the base of the lights ( a personal irritation of mine ).... in essence the town may be quieter, but it is still fairly neat and tidy...... and above all green....

I have also noticed a lot more Jackals wandering the streets these days...

I also hear that it will not be too long before we start to open the national papers and see jobs being advertised, quite a few people could not handle this 3 month quiet period and resigned ... lost their faith in the mine.... so now we have vacant positions....

Hey Mike, now now play nicely........................ Not when "the knobs clothing started to turn brown" They were aware of the problem and were working on it before even Michelles white shirts went brown too, so was not only to the KNOBS..... And why should the knobs get the lousy press? Some of the KNOBS have gone out of their way to help so take it back please.

@ Andrew  Clean at long last thanks for asking but little or no pressure....... apart from my blood that is, thanks for asking. At least now my white blankets match the coffee colour on my walls .
@Mike, Ok all is forgiven but at least your roof got fixed immediately, took three months for my kitchen door to be fixed!
