I was surprised to drive down 11th avenue this morning  on the way to the hospital to find that all the Speedbumps had been removed......

I then heard that the speedbump behind the minestore had also been removed....

What's going on, I thought to myself, those bumps must have cost a wee bit of money to build..... only to be removed a few short years later....

I spoke to a source, who could not confirm 100%, but believes that they might have been removed to allow the emergency vehicles quicker access to the hospital.

Mmmh! Wonder how much money got wasted the first time around?

Mmmh! Wonder what happens when the first child gets killed by a speeding vehicle on 11th outside the school....?

Just in passing, my 2 cents!

According to a friend of the contractor who built  a few speed bumps in the town, they cost about 13 000 each.......

I counted three gone so far....... 40 000 bucks moer toe!

Mike I think this price is for the more laany speed bumps down the road to pcc not those irritating little cement ones.
