Remember the days of growing up in the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
Have a look at this attachment.

OPS 1961-1968. Huguenot High 1969-1973.
Military Service Jan 1974-June 1975.
Worked in Oranjemund July 1975-March 1979.

Life's journey is not to
arrive at the grave safely
in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
totally worn out, shouting
'..holy sh*t ..what a ride!

Hi Richard
That was priceless and so true. We never had the worries we have today. Here in Engaland young kids are being treated for stress and i always say why they are only kids. We never had the stress they have today.
I heard a song the other day about the good old days will have to look for it

Hi Richard,

Thanks, that was very enjoyable and so so true.  I have been living in Omund since '80 and not eve my son(s) will have what we had as kids.  All this new technology!!!!  Gives me headaches.  What happened to the boys playing in the bush near the quarries and the girls playing "tea garden".  Very sad...wish my kids could have what we had...all such good memories. :)
Life is given to us one day at a time.  Don't look back and grieve about the past, for it is gone.  Do not be troubled by die future, as God will provide.  Live for today and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering....

Hi Mike

I was at Rhenish with your lovely wife.  We sat at the same dinning table for a couple of years.

Michael Alexander

I used to hang around Rhenish with Clinton Latimer quite a bit on the weekends back in the 80's.....

you would do anthing to get a girl........... Well you got a good one in michelle,  she's lovely.
in school she never had a bad word to say about anyone,  Never put butter on her toast -strange- but no-one is perfect..

Michele Alexander (Voden)

It's amazing the things that one remembers Claire! Still don't use butter/marg and seem to have passed it on to our eldest as she also won't use butter/marg on her bread!

I still don't have a bad word to say about anybody, except Adriaan but he is asking for it!
