I never knew that some very nice cars are manufactured right here in RSA, untill my wife sub contracted for Life health at such a factory
I know it has nothing to do with Oranjemund , but I think we can be proud on the quality that can come from a dedicated team .I attach a few photos
The Noble M400 , the Pirana Z1 . The back side - taken at the Factory in PE , and the sideview at the launch in Geneve . I do have specs for Noble @e.g  4.4 sec 0-100 etc , but unfortunately not for the Pirana
Also a pic of FORD Gt 40 's . The factory was asked to remanufacture GT40 , and this was the first three , ready to be tested by the Americans

Just an interesting note, I understand that cars assembled in PE the body parts being doors, fenders, boots, body-chell's ect are stored outside, exposed to the elements they are then welded together and dipped in a solution to clean up the surface rust on the different panels................question whar happens to the areas welded closed?, surly that rust can't be cleared or cleaned off they get painted assembly completed you buy one and a few years down the line, rust appears through all the seams.

I bought a Hyhundia from a retired active online member the veh is 16 years old and I can't find rust anywhere is this because they where assembled in Botswana no sea mist conditions to attack the panels prior to assembly.

Could this be a myth or fact.

Years ago , after PE had a flood , my brother baught a GM product. Brother living in the dry Western Transvaal , I was surprised to see this car falling apart after 3 years . rust all over , doors , chasis, pillars etc . My Brother used  plastic fertiliser bags and masking tape to cover the huge holes on the doors .
Imagine going to church , and your wife step out covered in splashed on mud ?
At the time ,It was suspected that those cars that was submerged in the flood water was flogged to the dealers up country , with the hope that in the dry wheater the problem of rust wont show up .
Guarentee those days were one year , excluding many items
