Here's a piece of awesome news. The Oranjemund Badminton Team have just returned from the All African Schools Badminton Championships in Pretoria. The OPS pupils represented their country, Namibia. They played a number of games over a the 5 day event and have returned as ALL AFRICA SCHOOLS BADMINTON CHAMPS!

So all you ex Oranjemunders, walk tall today, knowing that this small gem of a town still produces some of the best Badminton players in Africa.....

Well done to all the players and to Lyn their coach, for the long hours of training and dedication....

Today, I feel a little taller , my heart beats with pride to call myself an Oranjemunder!

Go OPS! Go ORANJEMUND!!!!!!!

I believe ex Oranjemunder, Riaan Du Plooy, who himself happens to be an awesome Badminton player of note, actually made the effort to trek over to Pretoria to go and support the team! Thanks Riaan!!!!

congrats   cheers   allgood   yes1   woo_hoo
